Milton Household Recycling Centre

• The Household Waste at Milton remains open from 9am to 8pm on weekdays and 9am to 6pm at weekends; you just need to make a booking here
• They have doubled the number of slots available so even at the busiest times there have been spare slots unused. 
• You can make a booking as little as one hour before the time slot, and you can make 2 visits in 7 days.
• If you don’t have the internet, ring the Council Contact Centre on 0345 045 5200 and they will make a booking for you.
• Many people have said they prefer making a booking because they don’t have to wait in a queue, it’s not so crowded and their overall journey is quicker. But if you don’t want to book, you can use the centre at Witchford, which does not require booking.

The County Council is protecting its staff by enabling social distancing while the pandemic is ongoing and case rates are rising in Cambridgeshire. Every day the Council is having to adjust staff working arrangements to cover when staff have to self-isolate because of being pinged by the NHS app, the purpose of which is reduce transmission. The Council will evaluate the situation in the week starting 16 August, depending on Covid case rates in Cambridgeshire, availability of staff etc
