Public consultation on Combined Authority's draft Local Transport Plan    3 July, 2019

The Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority are developing a Local Transport Plan (LTP) on the future of the area’s transport network to 2050. The LTP aims to bring forward a step‐change in how people travel across the area and will provide the strategic context for the Combined Authority’s major projects like new rail stations at Soham and Cambridge South, a new rail link at Wisbech, reforming the bus network, a dualled A10 and A47, a third crossing over the River Great Ouse and the CAM Metro..

The LTP is structured in two main parts. First is the overall plan which sets out the vision, objectives and the strategic approach up to 2050. Second is the Transport Delivery Plan, which will run from 2019 to 2031/36 and will detail how improvements to the transport network will be delivered and managed and maintained.

The Combined Authority are holding public consultation events on their draft LTP at a range of locations across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough in June, July and September. Closest to us are the following, all at the Central Library, Lion Yard, Cambridge:
