Pavilion

The Pavilion is small and compact but in a fantastic setting, with views across the Recreation Ground and the countryside beyond.

Facilities

The Pavilion is available for hire at a cost of £25 per hour (£12 per hour Monday to Thursday) plus electricity costs – just contact the Parish Clerk to check for availability. All income goes to the Recreation Ground Trust, which is a registered charity that looks after the facilities (Charity no. 288528).

Directions
Turn off Ditton Lane/Horningsea Road onto High Street, passing the Ancient Shepherds pub on your left.  Just before the War Memorial, bear right onto Church Street.  Continue down Church Street until the road turns sharply left: on that bend, you will see a wooden five-bar gate in front of you.  This is the Recreation Ground entrance.  Please park considerately, and don’t block fire access to the Rec!  After you walk through the gate, the Pavilion is the single-storey building immediately to your left.  The entrance is the first door on the left, on the side facing the main Recreation Ground.

The Fen Ditton Recreation Ground Trust is currently raising funds for a major development of the Pavilion, to provide changing facilities in line with current national standards, a larger community room and improved kitchen facilities. It will remain available for private hire.
