Latest information from eCops, issued 22nd May    22 May, 2015

The police have issued the following reports of two crimes committed locally:

  • Overnight of 20th/21st May the rear number plates were stolen from a vehicle parked in High Street, Fen Ditton. There are various reasons that people do this. Probably the most common is that they would temporarily hang the plate over their own, fill up with fuel, then leave without paying. When CCTV is checked it comes back to the stolen plates. Therefore it is important, that should this happen to you, you report it immediately. They could be used on a vehicle to commit other crimes also.
  • A works van was broken into overnight of the 21st/22nd in Cambridge Road, Fulbourn. Tools were stolen.

Remember, if you see anything suspicious or have been a victim of crime please report this to the police on either 101 (non-emergency) or 999 in an emergency. If you wish to remain anonymous please call Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
