Peak-time congestion along High Ditch Road is particularly bad at the moment during the roadworks and 40mph speed limit on the A14 westbound, sometimes leading to gridlock at the crossroads. To improve the flow of traffic at the junction, the county highways team have put out no-waiting cones to prevent parking at the crossroads and up to no. 1 High Ditch Road, and are arranging for temporary double yellow lines to be put in shortly.
