Meetings & Agendas

The Council normally meets on the first Tuesday of every month, with extra meetings when necessary. Sometimes there is no meeting in August. The meetings take place at the Pavilion on the Recreation Ground, Church Street. Observers are welcome to attend.

The meeting begins at 7.30pm with an open forum, at which visitors can raise issues and get an immediate response from the Council members present. At around 7.45, depending on the time taken with the forum, the Council meeting proper begins. Typically, the meetings finish at around 10pm, but this depends entirely upon how long it takes to cover all the agenda items.
